Health and fitness is the theme this summer at the Centre for Life in Newcastle and with the Olympic Games just around the corner, a new Extreme Sports Show in the Life Theatre will take off in time for the school holidays, from 19th July.

We’re receiving lots of requests for information about the Science Festival. We’re still hopeful that the Regional Development Agency (ONE NorthEast), will provide funding as in previous years. If this happens in the next couple of months, we expect to stage the next festival in March 2009 - Watch this space!
