Explore how your DNA makes you who you are in this all-new digital exhibition, making its debut at the Centre for Life.
Choose Your Character is an innovative exhibition about human genetics with a particular focus on immersing visitors in real world scenarios where they have to make choices or decisions based on genetic information.
The ‘Who Dunnit?’ section looks at the use of DNA evidence in forensics investigations and the role of the National DNA database.
The ‘Perfect match’ section explores inheritance by looking at the potential offspring of a couple and the possible genetic traits that can arise from the combination of the parents genes.
The ‘DNA dilemmas’ section explores three different medical conditions, their genetic component and the difficult decisions that can arise from technological advances such as genetic testing.
