Mini Medical School
Explore the world of medicine with a series of events at Life.
9th October - 13th November '08
The world of medicine can be steeped in mystery. The nearest most of us get to an insight is by watching television programmes like Casualty and ER.

Now, whatever your qualifications or experience, you can get a taste of medical school for yourself at the Centre for Life's Mini Medical School.
It's a six week course, led by academics and clinicians from Newcastle University, which will explore a range of medical subjects, including the history of brain mapping, fatigue, diabetes, obesity and skin cancer.
No prior knowledge of medicine is required. If you have a general interest in medical matters, you'll find this an exciting, accessible and engaging course.
Download the Mini Medical School leaflet for more information about the lectures, or call (0191) 243 8292.
