Life’s outdoor ice rink is open until Sunday 19 February.  Take advantage of our great value ‘Skate and Science Centre’ package for only £6 per pupil, which includes a session on the ice and the chance to see our latest science shows, All in the Mind (Science Theatre) and Shared Skies (Planetarium).

All our workshops* are available throughout this period: should you want an ice-related topic, workshops include Animal Adaptation (KS1 and KS2); Solid, Liquids and Gases (LKS2); Ice Investigation (UKS2 and KS3) and Changes of State and Gases Around Us (UKS2).

We can’t guarantee these individual components because of scheduling. However, we’ll do our best to cater for specific requirements.
