Tsunamis, earthquakes, volcanoes and wars make millions of people homeless every year and there is a world shortage of tents to accommodate the refugees. Working on a model scale, design and make an emergency shelter from card cut to the dimensions of widely available sheet materials. Test your design and compare it with one of the new solutions - the Hexayurt. Discuss what makes this design so successful and why some organizations are opposed to the use of hexayurts for disaster relief.
