What is hair? What is it made of? How can hair have colour? Why do we have hair? How does hair grow? How strong is hair? How does pH affect hair strength? Are all shampoos the same pH? Discussions and hands-on experiments to understand the science of hair and hair treatment. We all take hair for granted but it is an important part of our body and this workshop looks at the underlying science. The workshop is designed to cover the science which underlies the vocational courses in hairdressing and can be adapted to suit different levels of student.
