How loud is too loud? Can your ipod really damage your hearing? In this workshop, students will find out about sound and hearing. They will discover the dangers of loud sounds and experience what it might be like to have hearing damage. At the end of the event, students will devise a campaign to warn their friends about the dangers of loud noises. This workshop was developed in collaboration with the Manchester Museum of Science & Industry with the support of the University of Salford and the University of Southampton.
