The Centre for Life celebrates its 10th birthday today (27th May). The Centre for Life opened in May 2000. Ten years on, Life, as it’s affectionately referred to by its thousands of visitors, has not only reignited the region’s passion for science but helped put Newcastle back on the map as a leading city of science.
