Every winter, Life hosts the region's favourite ice rink on Times Square, right outside the Science Centre. You can enjoy a skate with family and friends seven days a week. Our ice rink is also available for exclusive hire.
Now in its ninth year, and a firm favourite on the Toon's winter calendar, the new skating season runs from 13 November 2010 to 27 February 2011.

Monday to Saturday 10am - 8pm
Sunday 11am - 6pm*
*The last skating session commences an hour before the closure times stated. Opening times may vary during busy times.
Please note that children aged 8 and under must be accompanied by an adult on the ice.
