Membership prices as of April 2012

 *After buying a Family Annual Pass, extra children in your family can purchase a pass at £10 each (a maximum of 3 extra children).

Our new pricing policy is now in place which means children aged 2 and over will be charged an admission fee. This is to reflect the improved facilities for this age group, particularly the Young Explorers' Zone and a specially devised planetarium show for little ones. Children under 2 will continue to come to Life for free.

For Annual Pass holders, this means that any passes purchased after 1 April 2012 will have to include children aged 2 and over (either as part of a family pass or individual tickets.) 

Any pass bought before Thursday 1 September 2011 will be honoured for a full 12 months. This means you can continue to have free access for children aged 4 and under, for a year from the date of purchase. 

If you bought your pass from Thursday 1 September 2011 the new ‘child’ price will apply.   

How to become an Annual Pass holder

To become an Annual Pass holder just fill out a membership form and hand it in at the Science Centre reception, then collect your pass on your next visit. We now require a passport sized photo for each pass, so please bring one with you when you pick up your pass and we’ll attach it for you. (Only adults need to bring a photo).

Alternatively, print out the application form now, fill in the sections and bring it with you on your next visit.

How to renew your membership

To renew your membership, just fill out a membership form and hand it in at the Science Centre reception, then collect your Annual Pass on your next visit. We now require a passport sized photo for each pass, so please bring one with you when you pick up your pass and we’ll attach it for you. (Only adults need to bring a photo).

How to buy an Annual Pass membership as a gift

To buy an Annual Pass membership as a gift for someone else, fill out a membership form with the details of the person/people you are buying the membership for (you will need their full name and address details and the ages of any children) then purchase the pass at the Science Centre reception.

Car Park discount

Produce your valid pass at Times Square Car Park office and get 10% off your parking charge. Available 7 days a week. Visit to the Centre not required.

Terms and Conditions

1. Annual Passes are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase.
   
2. Annual Passes are non-transferable and non-refundable in part or whole; they may only be used by the signatory. Failure to comply will invalidate the ticket.
   
3. Annual Pass holders are entitled to one visit per day on production of their Annual Pass – pass must be presented in person at reception in order to gain entry. Normal admission times apply.
   
4. Lost or stolen passes must be reported immediately. Replacement passes will incur a charge to the bearer of £3 per pass.
   
5. An adult must accompany a child Annual Pass holder if they are under the age of 12.
   
6. Annual Passes cannot be used in conjunction with any package e.g. school or group visit, birthday party etc. 
   
7. Annual Passes cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer.
   
8. Annual Passes cannot be used to gain free entry to additional events at Life where an extra fee is charged.  
   
9. Annual Passes remain the property of the Centre for Life and the management reserves the right to withdraw the Annual Pass at any time at their own discretion.
   
10. General terms and conditions on entry to the Life Science Centre apply.
    
11. Height restrictions apply on the Motion Ride (1.2m/4ft).
    
12. By joining the Annual Pass membership scheme you agree to be contacted by Life.

Please note: In order to comply with HMRC guidelines relating to gift aid, we can no longer offer a free skating preview evening to Annual Pass holders. Therefore ice rink charges apply as usual - ice skating admission is not included in Annual Pass membership.
