Bring your Girl Guides and Scouts for a fantastic day out! We offer specially tailored visits to help Brownies and Cubs towards their Stargazer and Astronomer badges and to help Brownies towards their Science Investigator badge.

We also provide sleepover events and group packages for our outdoor ice rink (November - February). We’re very flexible and can provide meal packages, bespoke workshops in our laboratories or even exclusive hire of the whole Science Centre or ice rink!

If you’re visiting between November and February why not come for a skate on the region’s favourite outdoor ice rink and take advantage of our group packages. Bring a group of 10 or more and 1 person with every 10 people comes free!

We offer a variety of options for groups: you can combine your skate with elements of the Science Centre (e.g. the planetarium or motion ride) or a whole Centre visit. Food and drink packages can also be added to suit your requirements, from simple chips and hot chocolate to more elaborate meals. The rink can also be hired exclusively for larger groups and pre-booking is essential.
