Gift Aid
The prices above include Gift Aid, which means they include a small voluntary donation to Life. If you’re a UK taxpayer and make a donation of at least 10%, as an educational charity, Centre for Life can claim an extra 25p in every pound from the Government (registered charity number 1059607).
Thanks to Gift Aid, your donation will let us claim back the tax on the whole price of your ticket and help us achieve our charitable objectives:
Life’s mission is to be the best place in the UK for enthusing and engaging everyone in science and to provide support and state-of-the-art facilities on site so that world-class scientific research in medicine can flourish.
We couldn't do this without your support, so THANK YOU.

New child prices – April 2012
From Sunday 1 April 2012, we will be making some changes to our pricing and children aged 2 and over will pay the ‘child’ price. (Currently, children aged 4 and under come free). This is to reflect the improved facilities for this age group, particularly the new Under 7’s area and a specially devised planetarium show for little ones. Children under 2 will continue to come to Life for free.
For Annual Pass holders, this means that any pass purchased from April 2012 will have to include children aged 2 and over (either as part of a family pass or individual tickets).
Important: Any pass bought before Thursday 1 September 2011 will be honoured for a full 12 months. This means you can continue to have free access for children aged 4 and under, for a year from the date of purchase. If you bought your pass from Thursday 1 September the new ‘child’ price will apply when our price changes take effect from April 2012.
