Life Science Centre is open on weekends only until Saturday 23 October, and then we're back open 7 days. Tickets for timed slots can be purchased online in advance of your visit. Some slots on the afternoon will be kept free for walk-ups - but booking is advised to avoid disappointment.
Our safety measures remain in place. This includes the Life team and visitors being asked to wear a face covering unless exempt.
Life turns 20 this week (25 - 31 May 2020), so we've got a special programme of birthday-themed activities planned on #LifeGoesONline.
We'll upload Birthday Week videos and demos here as and when they are posted on our Facebook, Twitter and Instagram channels.
Post videos of your family taking part in #LifeGoesONline on social media and we'll share the best with our ever-growing digital community. We especially want to see your low-key lockdown birthday celebrations and your favourite memories from 20 years of Life!
As Life celebrates its 20th birthday, we look back on 20 moments of Life, from the official opening by the Queen on 27 May 2000, to Britain's first astronaut Helen Sharman launching the new Space Zone this January – with more than a few fun and colourful moments in between!
What are your favourite memories from the first 20 years of Life? We'd love to see memories from past exhibitions, anyone who's been inspired by a visit, people who've worked onsite or benefitted from onsite NHS treatment. Share your memories on social media with the hashtag #LifeGoesONline
