Life Science Centre in Newcastle is bringing science and Easter fun to living rooms around the region with free online activities you can do at home as part of its #LifeGoesONline programme.
There will be three videos shared this week on Monday, Wednesday and Good Friday, and one further activity on Easter Monday. All activities use stuff you'll probably already have in the house.
Natalie Daring, Life's Science Engagement Director, said: "We’re really missing welcoming visitors to the centre to get stuck into our Easter offer – we always play around and explore the science of chocolate. The team has developed some online treats for families to enjoy instead, including an experiment in which you can calculate the speed of light by microwaving chocolate!"
To enjoy the content, follow @ScienceAtLife on Facebook, Twitter or Instagram. The first Easter offering - making a spring flower 'wobbler' - is already available online.
Post videos of your family taking part in #LifeGoesONline this Easter and they'll share the best on their social media channels.
#LifeGoesONline will continue throughout Life Science Centre's closure.
