Information to make your ice rink visit enjoyable and fuss-free
Your visit
- Children aged 9 years and under must be accompanied by an adult on the ice. Children aged 10 - 12 years must be supervised by an adult, either on the ice rink or from the viewing platform.
- Space on the viewing platform is limited and reserved for those supervising their children.
- If you leave the rink and hand in your skates, you have to buy another ticket to skate again.
- Management reserve the right to refuse entry - although, thankfully, this is rare.
- We provide wrist bands to all customers to help with timings – please have yours visible and hand it in with your skates at the end of the session.
- Skating sessions last approximately one hour (includes time to fit skates so expect 45-50 minutes on the ice).
- Times Square Café is usually open to buy Starbucks coffee and delicious hot and cold food.
Clothing, Valuables & Skate Hire
- Skate hire is included in your ticket. If you have your own skates you’re welcome to use them, but we can’t give discounts.
- Lockers are available for a small charge to store valuables, but ultimately all items (including shoes) are left at your own risk.
- Please wear suitable clothing - waterproofs, hats and gloves are recommended. Some people like to bring a change of clothing - particularly spare socks.
- Gloves and socks can be bought from the Life shop if you’re caught short.
For Your Safety
- Please skate anticlockwise.
- Please do not skate backwards.
- If anyone has an accident, please tell an ice marshall.
- If anyone endangers themselves or others, the Duty Manager will ask them to leave.
- We do everything we can to ensure you have a safe and happy experience, but skaters participate at their own risk.
- Please don’t throw ice/snow balls.
- Cigarettes, alcohol, food and drink are not allowed on the ice.
- Only skaters are allowed on the ice.
- Please don’t join hands to create chains while skating - this can result in accidents.
- Our ice marshals are a friendly bunch and are here to make your visit safe and enjoyable - please listen to anything they tell you, and feel free to ask them for advice.
Thank you.
