A Newcastle University research scientist working onsite at The International Centre for Life.

We need people with a range of skills and talents to make this happen. Whether it’s ‘front of house’ in the Science Centre, behind the scenes in finance or marketing or keeping the whole site tip top and sparkling – you will be doing your bit to make a difference.

Our mission is to inspire everyone to explore and enjoy science.

There's nowhere quite like Life.

Life believes science is for all! We exist to inspire everyone to explore and enjoy science; and provide a science hub where life enhancing research and patient treatment can thrive.

We’re based in the centre of Newcastle upon Tyne – right next to the Central Station. Opening in 2000, we are, and remain independent, entrepeneurial and dedicated to enriching lives through science. We care about our team, customers and partners, and are committed to providing a compassionate, welcoming and inclusive environment where everyone is respected and valued.

‘We’re not ones for bragging, but we think we are a very special place to work. Not only are we in the heart of an exceptional city, but we also bring together some pretty fabulous people who work together to promote the advancement of life science.’
