Large function room and temporary exhibit space
Our Scotswood Suite is a self-contained, fully flexible space designed to adapt to a wide range of events and experiences. With approximately 350sqm of floor area and a ceiling height of 5.3m, it offers an open, versatile environment supported by two bar areas, a private entrance and reception, dedicated parking and on-site facilities, with the option of a large commercial kitchen if required.
Ideal for evening events, trade fairs and training sessions, the space can be transformed to suit your needs. It also works well as a venue for temporary exhibitions, from immersive experiences to more traditional displays, pop-up exhibitions, touring shows and bespoke installations.
Currently home to our Great Dinosaur Escape, the Scotswood Suite demonstrates how the space can be fully reimagined, with availability for new bookings from 2027.

Science Centre and Times Square Café Bar
Host an unforgettable evening under Gaia, a mesmerising, seven-metre-diameter recreation of Planet Earth created by British artist Luke Jerram.
Or opt for Times Square Café Bar, a stylish contemporary space at the front of the science centre – ideal for networking events and drinks receptions.

Life has a large, fully equipped and high-quality commercial kitchen available to hire.
