Times Square Café and Bar, which is situated at the front of the science centre, is open during science centre opening times (see above). It is open to science centre visitors as well as the general public.
Open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Tickets for timed slots can now be purchased online in advance of your visit. Some slots on the afternoon will be kept free for walk-ups – but booking is advised to avoid disappointment.

Life is located in the centre of Newcastle at Times Square, just a two minute walk from Newcastle Central train and Metro station.
Parking info
Times Square Car Park is just a few minutes’ walk from the science centre. You can even book your car parking ticket online in advance of your visit.
Where to eat and drink
Food and drink can be purchased from one of our two on-site cafes. Alternatively, you are more than welcome to bring your own packed lunch.
