July Home Education Day

Special ticketed event
Especially for home educated children
Friday 4 July, 10:00am - 3:00pm
Male student uses pipette during PCR workshop in Life Science Centre education lab.

Home Education Days have been designed for home educated children to benefit from our curriculum-linked workshops, which reflect current and relevant STEM themes and topics

Children experience working like scientists in a lab setting which they would not have access to at home. At this Home Education Day, no school groups will be in the science centre, so you are guaranteed a more relaxed environment for your children. Families can also explore the science centre at leisure rather than having a ‘school style’ schedule to follow.

Families can book one of the workshop sessions and combine this with a science centre visit or can opt for science centre only.

The theme of May’s workshops is Living Things. Keep scrolling for further details…

Terms and conditions

Enjoy a fantastic day of learning with other home educators.
