Workshops have limited availability so must be booked in advance. Please note that for children participating in the 5-7 and 7-11 year old workshops, a parent/carer must accompany their young person. Practical equipment is only available to workshop participants.
We are sorry but we cannot accommodate younger children in the workshops for health and safety reasons. Children who are participating in the 11-14 year old workshops can attend unaccompanied, however parents/carers must stay in the centre and provide contact information so that they can be reached if necessary.
Adults are expected to supervise the children in their care and anyone displaying dangerous or anti-social behaviour may be asked to leave.
All workshops cost £11.00 per child and include a science centre visit. Sorry, but no membership discounts apply.
The science centre is open between 10:00am – 5:00pm and you can visit at any time around your chosen workshop time slot.
The event may be photographed and images used by Life for marketing and PR purposes. If you do not wish to be photographed, please speak to a member of staff upon arrival.
Your use of and purchase of tickets is governed by the Terms and Conditions as set out on the Life website.
It is your responsibility to check, prior to purchase, that the information you have supplied to us in respect of your online ticket requirements is accurate. We are only responsible for issuing online tickets in accordance with the information you provide. Once purchased, the date for which your ticket has been purchased cannot be changed. Payments for tickets are non-refundable. Tickets are only valid for the date stated upon them.
On arrival at Life, the following will be required:
- Appropriate proof of entitlement to any discounted ticket rate claimed (such as NUS card or Annual Pass card) for each person to be admitted under the ticket. You may be asked to pay the full admission price or refused entry in the instance of proof not being available.
- The name and booking reference number (provided at the time of purchase).No online ticket may be resold without the prior written consent of Life. If any person attempts to enter Life with a ticket that has been resold without Life’s written consent, Life may refuse entry and no compensation is payable to that person by Life.
