Every winter, Life hosts the region’s favourite ice rink, right outside the Science Centre.

The 2011/12 skating season has been another great success with skaters, of all abilities, taking to the ice in their droves.

There’s also been a host of special events over the last few months including two ice skating courses, birthday parties on the ice, mulled wine and mince pies festive events for our older crowd and a star-studded valentine’s special (do celebrity masks count?)

The ice rink will return in November 2012.
