Life Science Cente is currently closed. This decision has been made in the interests of the health and wellbeing our staff and visitors. It is a preventative measure only; Life is not aware of any specific risks to its visitors or staff in relation to the COVID-19 pandemic.

As an educational charity, our aim is to make science accessible to everyone and ticket revenue is vital to help us achieve this. We try to keep our prices as low as possible. Buy a family membership – and even if you only visit 3 times a year, you have saved on the cost of your ticket.

How to become a member
To become a member just fill out a membership form and hand it in at the Science Centre reception. We'll take your photo at reception and print out your membership card.*

How to renew your membership
To renew your membership, just fill out a membership form and hand it in at the Science Centre reception. We'll then take your photo at reception and print out your new membership card.*

How to buy membership as a gift
To buy membership as a gift for someone else, fill out a membership form with the details of the person/people you are buying the membership for (you will need their full name and address details and the ages of any children) then purchase the card at the Science Centre reception.
Car Park discount
Produce your valid membership card at Times Square Car Park office and get 10% off your parking charge. Available 7 days a week. Visit to the Centre not required.
Terms and Conditions
- Life Science Centre membership cards are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase.
- Life reserves the right to make changes to its programme or close parts, or all, of the Science Centre or ice rink, to undertake refurbishment or for commercial bookings. This includes closing earlier than the promoted times. Please check the website on the day of your visit for up-to-date information on closures.
- Membership is non-transferable and non-refundable in part or whole and cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer. Failure to comply will invalidate the ticket.
- Membership cards must be presented in person at reception in order to gain entry. Fast track entry is only possible with a membership card. If you forget your card on the day of your visit, you will have to join the general admissions queue. Normal admission times apply, unless otherwise stated.
- Lost or stolen cards must be reported immediately. Replacement cards will incur a charge to the bearer of £3 per card.
- Membership holders under the age of 12 must be accompanied by an adult.
- Membership cannot be used in conjunction with any group bookings e.g. school or group visits, birthday parties etc. unless otherwise stated.
- Membership cannot be used to gain free entry to additional events at Life where an extra fee is charged unless specifically stated. For instance: membership excludes entry to ice skating. Discounts may apply - see website for details. Where discounts apply, and an online booking is made, members must bring their valid membership cards to the event along with booking confirmation. Failure to do so could result in you being refused admission, or charged the full admission price.
- Membership cards remain the property of the International Centre for Life and management reserves the right to withdraw the membership scheme at any time.
- General terms and conditions on entry to the Life Science Centre apply.
- By joining the membership scheme you agree to be contacted by Life.
- All members must agree to have a photo taken for individual membership cards.
- Shop and café discounts: certain exclusions apply. Please ask a member of staff for details.
- To redeem discounts in the shop, cafés and Times Square Car Park, a valid membership card must be presented before the transaction is complete.
- Try before you buy membership upgrades must be completed on the day of your visit.
- Life Meetings and Events is the commercial side of Life that raises money for its charitable mission. Membership card holders are eligible for selected discounts on things like room hire, parties and weddings.
