Sorry, this event has now passed!
Mother and son in Just Look Up Planetarium Show at Life Science Centre.

Leave the world behind in Life’s amazing planetarium.

Leave the world behind and soar into space in the latest in a series of unique shows in Life’s Planetarium.

The Sky TonightAndromeda is a new presenter led show that explores the stars, mythology and astronomy of the night sky at this time of year.

Beginning with a clear view of the sky exactly as it appears that evening, free from light pollution and cloud cover, you’ll learn how to find North and identify three constellations and the Andromeda galaxy in the night sky, which holds over one trillion stars.

The new show also looks at the mythological story surrounding these constellations, which is one of the oldest versions of the classic princess and the dragon fairytale. Then vote for the planets you would like to visit as your journey continues across the solar system.

The show ends with a deeper look at the lifecycle of stars and how we are physiologically connected to the wider universe.

Expect a relaxed, immersive experience with super comfy seats and full wheelchair access.

Shows are on at various times throughout the day and times are available on arrival. During busy times, we request that you visit the Planetarium once – this is to allow other visitors to enjoy the experience too.
