CEO of Magnitude Biosciences
Fozia graduated from Manchester University with a Pharmacology degree before studying for a PhD in molecular physiology at Edinburgh University.
Since then, she has notched up 20 years’ experience in the global life sciences sector in research and development, contract research and bringing products to market.
"Balancing my work at Magnitude with raising a young family has made me appreciate just how important early experiences are in shaping confidence and curiosity. Life offers those moments in a way that feels accessible and enjoyable, showing children and families that science is part of everyday life and full of possibility. “My work in biosciences is rooted in understanding complex biology and translating it into practical solutions. Life reflects that same spirit by opening up science in a way that is engaging, relevant and grounded in everyday life. It is a powerful way to inspire the next generation of scientists here in the North East and beyond.”
