Families can get stuck into hands-on fun this February in Newcastle

February half-term highlights

  • See through skin and inside an eye in an amazing show from special guests Medical Mavericks. (Saturday 22 – Friday 28 February only)
  • Enjoy sparkles and surprises, the risk of someone getting wet and an incredible finale with our best bits from the past 25 years in a spectacular live science show.
  • Tour the night skies in a presenter-led fulldome show, before zooming out to see amazing galaxies. Explore the beauty and wonder of our universe – all you need to do is Just Look Up.
  • Make and take home your own mechanical cardboard creation in the Making Studios. 
  • Discover why “Every Can Counts” in an immersive infinity room! 
  • Examine your own eyebrow hairs, explore how different materials trap heat, or experiment with the density of seawater in the Experiment Zone (age 7+).

Life is located in Times Square, just a two minute walk form Newcastle Central train and Metro station.

Life is a great place for groups of all sizes to spend a day and take part in some fun science activities! If you’re bringing 20 people or more, it’s best to book in advance.
