What’s on over February Half-Term?

Medical Maverick and human eye

See through skin and inside an eye!
From Saturday 22 – Friday 28 February, special guests Medical Mavericks will amaze visitors with their interactive science show, revealing the hidden world inside our bodies. See beneath the skin, explore inside an eye, and uncover the incredible ways our bodies work. A fascinating experience for budding scientists!

Step inside a giant recycled drink can
Ever wondered what 1,500 recycled drink cans look like when transformed into art? Step into a giant mirrored infinity room and explore a mesmerising world of reflections – a fun way to dive into sustainability and creativity.

Spectacular live science demos
Expect sparkles, surprises, and wow moments as we bring science to life with our most spectacular demos yet in a new live science show. This is one experience you won’t want to miss!

Out of this world experiences
Tour the night skies in a presenter-led fulldome show, then zoom out to see amazing galaxies. Explore the beauty and wonder of our universe – all you need to do is Just Look Up.

Hands-on experiments (ages 7+)
For young scientists who love to experiment, our hands-on lab activities let kids dive into real experiments. Examine your eyebrow hairs, explore how materials trap heat, or test the density of seawater in the Experiment Zone.

Play Zone – fun for under-7s
Little ones can explore, play, and learn in our dedicated Play Zone, packed with age-appropriate activities including soft play. Perfect for curious young minds!

Plus, enjoy familiar favourites including our International Space Station replica in Space Zone and pulley chairs in Wow Zone.
