Mother and son in Just Look Up Planetarium Show at Life Science Centre.

Leave the world behind in Life’s amazing planetarium.

Take a guided journey across the night sky as it will appear on the evening of your visit in this live, presenter-led show.

Discover the stars free from the effects of clouds and light pollution. Perfect for beginner stargazers, this introduction to the night sky will show you how to find the North Star before exploring Vega, Deneb and Altair – the three brilliant stars that form the famous Summer Triangle. Along the way, learn the story of The Cowherd and the Weavergirl, a Chinese folktale woven into the stars of the Summer Triangle.

Then fly through the solar system, where you can vote for which planets to visit. And finally, hear about the places we have yet to explore in the universe and the planets outside our solar system that could support extraterrestrial life!

Shows are on at various times throughout the day, and times are available on arrival. During busy times, we request that you only visit the Planetarium once, this is to allow other visitors to enjoy the experience too.
