Families can enjoy a frightfully fun programme of live shows, exciting experiments and spooky science.

There are a host of thrilling treats on offer from making and taking home a pot of slime (31st October only) and bone-shaking skeleton puppets in the Making Studios, to captivating live shows, eerie-sistible experiments and an exciting 360° planetarium show.

Visitors can get their glow on or identify mini beasts with spooky science experiments in the Experiment Zone (ages 7+), catch The Great Dinosaur Escape before the prehistoric beasts go extinct in the New Year and find out what scares the dinos in a thrilling live theatre show.

Weave through the cobwebs and follow the dinosaur trail around the centre before snuggling up in the Planetarium for a Halloween edition of the 360° fulldome show, Bump in The Night.

The animated show, written and produced by Life’s talented in-house team, follows the story of a young child who with the help of their beloved toy rabbit Rags, and a healthy dose of curiosity, finds the courage to explore the strange shadows and mysterious noises that fill the night.

All activities are included in a science centre entry ticket.
